Duel Fuel Heat Pump Rebate

Install a duel fuel heat pump and get a $150 per ton * rebate.

To qualify for a rebate the Dual Fuel system must fulfill these requirements:

• Must be served by Laclede Electric Cooperative.
• Must have a COP (coefficiency of performance) of 2 at 17 degrees and a SEER (seasonal energy efficiency rating) of 14 or more.
• Duel Fuel must be LP or Natural Gas furnace.
• No electric resistance heat for back-up.
• Installation will have an outside thermostat set to disengage the Air to Air Pump (AAHP) at no higher than 28 degrees.
• Two state thermostat inside the home
• First stage for AAHP
• Second stage for LP or natural gas back-up
• Emergency heat – LP or natural gas back-up.
• Must be new equipment on a permanent foundation.
• Installed after 1/1/07.

All rebates will go to the person whose name is on the account at the time the request is made.

Laclede Electric Cooperative representatives may verify installation of the GSHP in the member’s home or business.

Proof of purchase will be required, including model numbers, serial numbers, COP and SEER ratings on heat pumps.

The 2008 Rebate Program has limited funding. Members should verify funds availability before applying for rebate.

Limits may apply to total rebate amounts.
